With over 60 years combined experience, we have experienced it all. We know first hand what delights our clients and what is important to them. We also know the worries and stress that you have to battle with daily. Not just the typical technical issues that all businesses face, but often the friction of working with an IT Service provider.
We created Evolv to not only be a ‘best of breed’ technology services company, but also the first to remove much of the friction and frustration you feel every time you have to engage with your provider.
In simple terms, we shared a vision of what the best IT Service Provider in the country should look like, and we are having a ball building it!
Who we are
Technical Director
Colin Bennett
Having worked his way up through the ranks of two of Northern Ireland’s best known IT Service Providers, Colin brings knowledge, experience and a high level of technical expertise to Evolv IT.
Starting his career as a University placement student, Colin demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems and communicate with customers effectively. On graduation, Colin returned full-time in an engineering role and was later promoted into the project management team, where he worked alongside Mark.
In 2013, Colin moved to another IT services company together with Mark and they formed a strong working relationship alongside David.
Since then, Colin has designed, managed and implemented projects of all sizes. From small businesses to local councils, and large enterprise, but prides himself on building lasting relationships as a result of his work.
When not working, Colin is either playing or coaching at his local football club.
Commercial Director
David Corr
David’s background is within technical sales but he soon discovered that the best sales person is the one that genuinely puts the client’s needs before his own. A trait that hasn’t gone unnoticed with clients past and present. This quality aligned perfectly with the values and mindset of Colin and Mark. It continues to be a core foundation of Evolv IT.
When he isn’t working (and often when he should be), David can either be found on the golf course or being kept extremely busy with his young family. He’s an early riser so on a rare day does both!
Technical Director
Mark Lawrence
Mark has worked alongside Colin across two IT service providers, as well as starting out his career as internal IT for a leading NI manufacturing business. Evolv IT sees Mark’s passion for technology and business come together.
Mark’s IT services journey started in 1999 as an IT engineer, before being promoted to manage the team. In 2005, he transitioned into project management, before moving to another IT services company which expanded his scope further to include the consultancy, design and implementation of solutions for small business IT through to enterprise level infrastructure solutions both in the North and South of Ireland.
Outside work, Mark is a keen water sports fanatic and spends most of his time with his young family and trying to entice them away from their mobiles to spend time outdoors.
